The purpose of the combustion head is to create air-flow turbulence and is complete with ignition electrode.

Fitted coaxially on the inside are the nozzle holder and the nozzle inside which the pulverized diesel fuel flows which, when mixed with air, is ignited by the electrode to create combustion.
